Cultivating change one potluck at a time

Ten years ago, a dozen farm women in Green County, Wisc., came together for a meal. They had no agenda, committees or
membership fees—just a desire for connection amongst kindred spirits who shared a passion for the soil, community and
healthy local food. They had no idea that a simple potluck would result in Soil Sisters, a collaborative with over 200 participants
who have created an award-winning on-farm event, started new businesses, and changed public policy.
